Real estate

KYC and AML software for real estate

Clear buyer, seller and entity checks before the deed: identity, UBO of LLC buyers, and LSEG World-Check screening in one timestamped file.

Who this is for

Real estate agencies, property funds, notaries, title and closing teams that have to identify buyers and sellers (and the people behind an LLC or trust) before a deed, not after a deadline.

If KYC still lives in email threads and a sanctions PDF printed the morning of closing, this is the product view of that problem. The longer operational read is the FinCEN residential real estate rule playbook. Tool comparisons sit in AML screening tools for real estate. Property-fund context is in AML for property funds.

What has to exist at the closing table

A pass/fail score from a consumer ID app is not a closing file. You need identity evidence, screening of the natural persons, beneficial ownership when the purchaser is an entity, and a timestamped record you can attach to the transaction.

VeriKYC runs that sequence in one guided flow:

  • Government-issued ID and document authenticity checks against official databases
  • Biometric liveness matching so a photograph or a deepfake does not satisfy the check
  • Sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening of the people in the deal
  • Ultimate beneficial ownership mapping when the buyer or seller is a company or trust
  • A timestamped audit trail covering every decision and re-check

Your team still sets risk policy and signs off on a borderline file. The platform removes the clerical chase around that judgement.

Deal-table CDD, not a consumer signup SDK

Residential and investment property deals are low volume and high consequence. The check has to survive a later question from a supervisor, a bank, or an examiner, including who owned the LLC that took title.

FinCEN's residential real estate reporting framework is one reason US cash and entity purchases now look like a reporting desk as much as a closing table. Similar pressure exists in other markets where estate and letting firms must register and screen. This page is not legal advice and does not claim a filing is complete because a verification ran. It is the identity, screening, ownership and audit file those processes need.

Screening with LSEG World-Check

VeriKYC screening is powered by LSEG World-Check, the London Stock Exchange Group's risk intelligence database. It aggregates information from more than 100,000 credible sources and is used by over 300 global financial institutions.

A local agency or a property fund can run that screening without negotiating a data licence or building an integration. World-Check screening is included in VeriKYC processes that require advanced KYC/AML verification. Enhanced reports and continuous monitoring are priced before activation. The full screening page is LSEG World-Check in VeriKYC.
